Chives

Chives

A versatile relative of garlic!

Chives can be eaten raw (in a salad, for example) or added to your favorite recipes at the end of cooking. Their aromatic yet subtle flavor makes them a perfect way to enhance almost any dish.

Using Chives

Chives aren't the type of plant you would normally use as the centerpiece of a meal but they sure are great cut up and sprinkled in (or on) a wide variety of foods. Try them in omelets, on potatoes, in salads, or even mixed in with ground beef for fantastic hamburgers.

Chives are very easy to grow so if you have a garden, give them a try and chances are you'll have a never ending supply of a fantastic food.
