I'm not 100% sure that garlic is an herb but for our purposes it is close enough. Anyway, using herbs to season your food is a great way to eat healthy and lose weight. These herbs in particular are good because they require more calories to digest than what they contain so each little sprinkle is as close to automatic weight loss as you can get.
Our bodies need salt of course but most people get way too much in their diets. Using herbs and spices instead of salt can go a long way toward better health.
